Spring, 2008 -Tucson teachers demonstrating in front of the offices of Tucson Unified School district
against proposed cutbacks including the closure of several schools. Their fight was sucessfrul and for now at least the school closings have been put on the shelf. The demonstrators are now campaigning for a budget override.
